India Transport and Maharashtra company (MSRDC) plan to introduce RFID technology in the area of border checkpoint .

In addition to the distribution of RFID tags, tanker truck and trailer, etc., the vehicle's data is stored in the system.These 

data include the vehicle tax registration number, license plate number, validity, and details.When truck go through a metal 

frame with RFID label probe,  all details of the car will appear on the terminal.

The configuration brings two benefits, One is the troublesome of the long lines and reduce the waiting time.The second is 

to restrict the railway transport office (RTO) official corruption.

A RTO official said: "the vehicle detector through the metal framework, the computer will be in a few seconds to read the 

data stored in RFID label,  Unless the vehicle not afford tax or overload, otherwise can go through successfully."Transport
