The IP (INGRESS PROTECTION) protection level system was drafted by IEC (INTERNATIONAL ELECTROTECHNICAL COMMISSION). The appliance is classified according to its characteristics of dustproof and moisture proof. The meaning of the first number:

1. No protection, no special protection for people or things outside

2. Prevent the intrusion of solid foreign objects larger than 50mm, prevent the human body (such as the palm) from coming into contact with the internal parts of the appliance due to accidents, and prevent the invasion of foreign objects of larger size (greater than 50mm in diameter).

3. Prevent the intrusion of solid foreign objects larger than 12.5mm, prevent human fingers from coming into contact with the internal parts of the electrical appliance, and prevent the intrusion of foreign objects of medium size (larger than 12.5mm in diameter)

4. Prevent the intrusion of solid foreign objects larger than 2.5mm, and prevent the intrusion of tools, wires and similar small foreign objects with a diameter or thickness greater than 2.5mm into contact with the internal parts of the appliance.

5. Prevent the intrusion of solid foreign objects larger than 1.0mm, and prevent intrusion of tools, wires and similar small foreign objects with a diameter or thickness greater than 1.0mm into contact with parts inside the appliance.
